Newgrange "Folly"- County Meath Ireland
Image of a stone "folly" at Newgrange in the Republic of Ireland. Newgrange is a passage tomb that dates back over 5000 years. But on the Newgrange site is a little, oddly shaped, stone building which doesn't seem to fit in anywhere. It is called a "Folly" because it was built at the whim of a long ago landlord when his peasant tenants needed work to do.
