King Stone, Rollright Stones- Near Long Compton, England

The Rollright Stones are 3 distinct megalithic stone monuments constructed from the 2nd to the 4th century BCE. The King Stone is the one that is most confusing for archeologists. Speculation about it's purpose, and placement dates, vary so much that they have been unable to draw any firm conclusions.
